Economics- TEST 2 Monday. Also know the following essay question: Explain the differences in how prices are determined in market economies and in command economies. What are the results of each?

● In a market economy, prices are determined by the interaction of supply and demand, resulting in an equilibrium price at which consumers and suppliers are willing to buy and sell.
● In a command economy, prices are fixed by the central authority, frequently resulting in surpluses and shortages of goods.

8th grade- the Golden Horseshoe exam will be given Thursday, 3/12. Please spend this week reviewing your book and notes 

9th grade- quiz 26 Tuesday. Be studying for TEST 8 to be given next Wednesday, 3/18

American Government- quiz 15 Wednesday. Return permission slips if you haven't already. We will be leaving the school at 7:20 Thursday morning and will return that evening. Dress is business casual (nice pants and a shirt with a collar or a suit jacket for boys, girls may wear a nice shirt and pants or a dress). Wear comfortable shoes! Lunch will be provided but bring money if you want anything extra.
