BONUS OPPORTUNITY FOR WEDNESDAY! Research and discuss a historical event where weather played a part in the outcome (wind, rain, snow, extreme temperatures, etc). Write 1-2 paragraphs discussing the event and how history might have been changed because of it. Have a great day! ❄️❄️❄️

 **THERE WILL BE NO SCHOOL MONDAY OR TUESDAY. COMPLETE ASSIGNMENTS FOR BOTH DAYS**

7TH GRADE- Day 1: TEST 6 open book   Day 2: read section 17.1

8TH GRADE- Day 1: Read pp. 150-153 and do Lesson 1 Check It on p. 153. Day 2: Read pp. 154-160 and write the definitions that are highlighted in yellow. Also, write a paragraph or two explaining the different types of industry that boomed in West Virginia during this time. 

9TH GRADE- Day 1: read pp. 222-224 (Progress of Modern Science) and do quiz 19.        Day 2: read pp. 224-228 and do quiz 20

US HISTORY- The Civil War Episode 1 handout. This is 2 days worth of snow day assignments (here is a copy if you were absent Friday)




AMERICAN GOVERNMENT: Day1: do the 5th amendment handout Day 2: review pp. 158-170 and do section 3 review on p. 171

ECONOMICS: do assignments given in class
